}In recent years, the Comporta area has seen an increase in luxury resorts with distinctive regional architecture, attracting international attention and leading to comparisons with the Hamptons. A mediation company is expanding its presence in the area with the “Casas do Sal” project.
According to Miguel Tilli, reported by idealista, the luxury real estate market remains appealing despite changes in tax regulations and golden visa programs, showing continued demand from Brazilians, Americans, and Europeans.
“We’ve noticed strong demand for properties in central Lisbon, Cascais, and Porto, particularly in historic areas. However, interest has now extended to more outlying and even rural locations. HomeLovers, with its presence in Comporta, is adapting to this trend across the Alentejo, Algarve, and Douro regions.”
Tilli noted that Portugal’s security is a key factor for foreign buyers. He added that the climate, cuisine, and welcoming atmosphere also contribute to the country’s appeal.
